Leadership development involves coaching pastors and leadership teams in doing healthy assessment, learning, and growth in the skills and practices for equipping congregations for ministry. This can be done in monthly coaching sessions, or in a series of retreat type settings.
Leadership development Agreements are made to fit leader’s hoped for outcomes. Common desired outcomes can include specific leadership practices such as facilitating congregational discernment, or working through congregational challenges. Desired outcomes for leadership teams often include cultivating depth in team relationships, formation of the team as a spiritual community, or developing a plan to foster congregational growth as a missional community.
